Presenters:

Travis Hartjen

Serving as a Church Planter in the North Dallas Area, Travis Hartjen started off as a Youth Minister where he served for over 10 years. During that time, He has had the opportunity to speak to schools, youth gatherings, conferences, and training workshops across the nation. He is very excited about the opportunity to start a church that will not only feed those who know Christ but will be effective in connecting with those who don't know the amazing love and freedom found only in Jesus. His Wife and four children currently live in Frisco, TX where they are building a community to launch the church.

Leon Jameson

Minister to Youth and Families at Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles, Missouri Leon Jameson has been serving youth for over a decade now (yowza) and seriously loves this calling. Leon speaks regularly to teenagers and adults throughout the US. He is happiest when spending time with his wife Gretchen and daughter Sydney Grace. When away from ministry you can find Leon riding on his lawn tractor, wrestling with his Golden Retriever Bailey, and collecting M&M dispensers. Leon's mission is to live for Jesus, leading others to do the same.
 
Leon is available for high school and junior high retreats, camps, conferences and training events. He travels out of St. Louis, MO.

Jeffrey Meinz

Jeffrey grew up in Farmington, Missouri, graduated from Concordia University (Seward, Nebraska) in 1996 and served a 10 year call to Walcamp Outdoor Ministries in Kingston, Illinois. He now serves as the Director of Youth and Family Ministry at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jeffrey is married to Amy and they have four children.

Dr. Micah Parker

God blessed Micah with an unexpected and incredible adversity that helped shape my original message. His personal testimony is about how to truly trust Jesus Christ with your entire life, regardless of the circumstances. After taping a chapel service he did at Concordia University NE about my experience, he mailed the tape to friends and family who were praying for him. Those tapes were taken to church or given to friends who were also dealing with an adversity. People heard the tape and asked him to come tell more of the story. When people would ask Micah to come back and speak, he'd respond with, "You heard my story; that's all I've got." As a result, he developed many more talks. That was 11 years ago. Since then, Micah has been blessed to speak in 21 different states and to countless groups, ranging from ONE to over 28,000 at a time. He has spoken in a cow pasture, at a prison, for Christian companies, and in huge arenas; each has been a blessing!"

the THESE GUYS

Leon Jameson, Jeffrey Kunze, and Micah Steiner are the THESE GUYS. Also known as Two DCEs and a Pastor, THESE GUYS bring comedy and insight to the day-to-day experiences of church workers serving in the congregational setting. They've been teaching God's word using comedy, drama, wigs, and fake mustaches for over five years. Laugh along, don't take them too seriously and perhaps see just a bit of yourself in their sketches.
 
 

The House Band:

The 211Band has been leading worship for 4 years at Room211 in Lincoln, NE. They have now partnered with [un]Paved Ministries as our house band for events and conferences. Like all our speakers, the band is also available for your specific events.
 
 

 

Production:

Micah Steiner - Creative Director

Micah Steiner served as a DCE for five years at Peace Lutheran in New Berlin, WI and has spent the past two years at Our Father Lutheran Church in Centennial, CO as the Minister to Youth and Families. He graduated from Concordia University Nebraska in 2001, and is currently working on completing his Masters in Family Life Ministry. Micah has also served on the National Lutheran Youth Workers Conference planning team for the past four years.

Micah lives with his wife, Amanda, and is expecting their first child in August. Micah and Amanda enjoy spending their free time watching baseball games (go Brewers), hiking, and reading their collection of "how to" baby books they have recently acquired.

Phil Grimpo - Technical Director

Phil Grimpo has been in the Multimedia business for over 15 years now. He has worked in productions from 300 to 30,000 participants. After graduating from Concordia University, River Forest, Phil moved to Lincoln, NE and began Inspirmedia Ministries in 2001. Inspirmedia is a multimedia production company concentrating in Web Development, Video Production and Live Event Production. Youth ministry has always been a passion for Phil. He is excited to be working with [un]paved ministries and using his skills to better connect with the youth of today.
